Pitchon Lev association implemented a EuroMed IV Partnership building activity that has been performed over a 5 months period including a period of 6 days hosting representatives from 5 organizations from Israel (Jewish, Moslem, Christian, Druze and Moslem) and 6 organizations from Europe (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Portugal, Slovenia, France, Romania).
The seminar was realize over a 6 days period at the end of August, 2012 and it was based on 2 themes – the inclusion of minority groups and building the awareness of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse amongst youth.
The seminar included the exchange of good practices and tools as well as the strengthening of partnerships and cooperation between the organizations.
The project resulted in the building of 8 new project concepts that will be submitted within the framework of the ‘Youth in Action’ and ‘EuroMed IV’ programs for April and June deadlines.
The action’s host period in Israel was concluded with a ‘gala’ closing ceremony that included dignitaries from Israel and representatives from the embassies and consulates of the respective European partners.
