Booklet 18 projects in Israel (2010-2013)

Israel is a country with high percentage of representation in all international activities on youth, especially EuroMed Youth Program IV and Youth in Action Program, giving chance to possible future partnership building in the framework of both Programs between organizations from Israel and EU countries.

The implementation of Euro-Med Youth Program Phase IV in Israel started in September 2010 and three deadlines on Calls for Proposals have been published. Nearly 800 Youth organizations and NGOs have been involved in the network of EMYU Israel, reaching the National wide organizations and their own network.

More than 150 Israeli organizations participated in the training seminars, 52 projects applied for funding, 19 projects selected from the evaluation committee and 350 are the young people beneficiating of the Euromed youth Program with a total budget of 392.000€ for project funding.

This document is an evidence of the Israeli participation to the second edition of the event “EuroMed Youth Awards”, after Cairo, Egypt in 2005, held from the 10th to the 14th of June 2013, in Dead Sea – Jordan within the framework of the EU-funded EuroMed Youth and Youth in Action programmes with more than 70 participants coming from 11 European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Finland, France, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal, and Spain), 1 Programme country of the Youth in Action Programme (Turkey) and 6 neighbour countries from the Mediterranean area (Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia).

Here you will find out the description of the 18 projects implemented in Israel during this first phase (2010-2013) of the Euromed Youth Program IV accompanied by a brief contextualization of their development.
